Annual Governance and Assurance Framework Audit

In order to provide assurance to partners the Gateshead SAB undertook an audit of it Governance and Assurance Framework. The audit examined how the board had met it's obligations as laid out in the framework and identified areas where it needed to improve performance.  The 2024/25 audit was undertaken by the Gateshead SAB Business Manager, however to provide greater scrutiny it has been agreed that future audits will be undertaken by multi-agency partners through the Quality, Learning and Practice Subgroup.
